Tocou com Elis Regina durante 8 anos (1974 até Jan/1982), em shows e gravações, assinando a direção musical de seu último show “Trem Azul”, com Simone (1982 a 1990), Djavan (1979), Ivan Lins (1979), Renato Teixeira (1994 a 2004) com quem atuou como músico, arranjador e diretor musical, Lula Barbosa, Chico Buarque, Nana Caymmi entre tantos outros grandes nomes da música brasileira, tanto em discos como em shows.
Tem composições em parceria com Aldir Blanc, Murilo Antunes, Márcio Borges, Paulo Garfunkel, Jean Garfunkel, Ana Terra, Vanessa da Mata, Flora Figueiredo, entre outros. Ganhou prêmio de melhor arranjador do festival Rímula (1991), melhor música no festival XI FAMPOP de música brasileira (1993), e do prêmio Colunistas de melhor jingle com “Bráulio” para a campanha do Ministério da Saúde (1996). Gravou 2 discos instrumentais pelo selo SOM DA GENTE, contendo composições próprias:
COMBOIO, também lançado na Alemanha, e DOIS, ambos em parceria com Ricardo Leão. Com esses trabalhos, se apresentou no Festival de Jazz de Montreal e no Free Jazz em SP.
A convite do produtor Fernando Faro, gravou o programa Ensaio exibido pela TV Cultura SP, um especial sobre sua carreira, contanto fatos de sua via musical, mostrando suas composições, o trabalho registrado nos CDs instrumentais, as parcerias com letristas como Ana Terra, Murilo Antunes e também, músicas do repertório de Elis Regina, relembradas por Fernando Faro, responsável
pela direção geral de “Trem Azul”, último show de Elis no qual Natan assinou a direção musical. A convite de Rolando Boldrin, Natan e Myrthes Aguiar gravaram participação em seu programa “Sr Brasil” também exibido pela TV Cultura SP, onde mostraram canções que integram o show Restos e Rastros, que dá nome ao primeiro CD de Myrthes Aguiar. Lançou em jan/2010 o primeiro CD de Myrthes Aguiar, “Restos e Rastros”, onde assumiu a produção e direção musical. Neste CD, Myrthes Aguiar interpreta composições de Natan Marques com diversos parceiros.
Junto com Jean Garfunkel e Joana Garfunkel, se apresenta no projeto Canto Livro, um encontro da música e da literatura resultando em shows temáticos com enfoque em autores brasileiros ou da língua brasileira, onde a narrativa é permeada por canções afinadas com a temática da abro do autor.
Com o Sarau Chama Poética, produzido por Fernanda Almeida Prado, se apresenta junto com Myrthes Aguiar nos tributos à Charles Chaplin e Vinícius de Moraes em unidades do SESC, Museu da Língua Portuguesa e Biblioteca de São Paulo.
Participou do Festival da Palavra na UNESP de ASSIS, com o Chama Poética se apresentando juntamente com Myrthes Aguiar nos tributos à Vinicius de Moraes e à Charles Chaplin.
Com Luis Felipe Gama e Ana Luiza, se apresenta em shows com repertório composto por canções de Luis Felipe, de Natan Marques e da parceria dos dois.
Com eles gravou “Entrelaço, Luis Felipe Gama, Ana Luiza e Natan Marques”, com arranjos de Luis Felipe Gama e de Natan Marques, e contendo algumas composições de Natan.
Apresentaram este show em São Paulo e outras cidades brasileiras, e também em Buenos Aires - Argentina. Vem se apresentando com Myrthes Aguiar no show “FElisidade”, especialmente elaborado por ele em homenagem a Elis Regina, relembrando o período marcante de sua trajetória acompanhando Elis, revisitando o repertório impecável mostrado nos espetáculos “Elis e Tom”, “Falso Brilhante”, “Transversal do Tempo”, “Essa Mulher”, “Saudade do Brasil” e “Trem Azul”.
Com formações diversas, de duo a sexteto, “FElisidade” foi apresentado no SESC Ipiranga, SESC Vila Mariana, SESC Bertioga, Clube Paineiras do Morumby, inaugurando o projeto Quartas Culturais, no projeto Duos Brasileiros no teatro Cultura Inglesa, no projeto Duos Homenageiam do SESC Consolação, no SESC Ipiranga, no SESC Vila Mariana, no SESC Bertioga, no SESC S. José dos Campos, no projeto Chuva de Estrelas do Centro Cultural São Paulo, no Museu da Língua Portuguesa e no All Of Jazz.
A convite do Centro de Cultura Brasileira em Frankfurt, na Alemanha, apresentou o show “FElisidade” junto de Myrthes Aguiar, na BrotFabrik em Frankfurt no dia 19 de outubro de 2010, com a participação de Angela Frontera (bateria), Ciro Trindade (baixo) e Marcio Tubino (sax, flauta).
Em 2012, ano em que se completou 30 anos da morte de Elis, Natan participou como convidado especial do show em homenagem à Elis com Alayde Costa, Célia, Fátima Guedes e Zé Luiz Mazziotti no SESC Ipiranga.
Em 17.03.2012, aniversário de nascimento de Elis, Natan apresentou o show “Felisidade” com repertório especialmente elaborado para a data, no Sesc São José dos Campos com casa super lotada, em show que emocionou a plateia e a produção do Sesc.
Em abril de 2012 participou do show de lançamento do CD “Mestre Navegador” de Dino Galvão Bueno, no Sesc Vila Mariana.
Natan assina os arranjos de seis faixas de “Mestre Navegador” participando também como músico. Também em 2012, participou como parceiro, arranjador e músico no CD “13 Pares E Um Tango Solitário” de Jean Garfunkel. Neste CD, da parceria com Natan, Jean gravou a composição “Era Apenas Um Menino”.
Ainda em 2012, assinou a direção musical e os arranjos do CD “Canções de Faz de Conta”, de Ana Luisa Lacombe. Desde o início de 2012, Natan retomou a parceria de muitos anos com Renato Teixeira, com quem se apresentou em shows e discos, em turnês por várias cidades brasileiras, participando como músico, arranjador e diretor musical.
Em 2013, além da parceira com Renato Teixeira, se apresentou com Myrthes Aguiar no show “FElisidade”, em unidades do SESC, no All Of Jazz, contando com as participações talentosas de André Marques (piano), Ricardo Zohyo (baixo acústico em elétrico), e Márcio Corrêa (bateria).
Em 2014, iniciou a produção do segundo CD de Myrthes Aguiar, que incluirá composições suas, de Murilo Antunes, Márcio Borges, Jean Garfunkel, e Beto Guedes entre outros.
Junto com Lula Barbosa, Carlão Andrade e Dega Calazans, formou o grupo Bebericanto com projeto de gravação do primeiro CD ainda em 2014.
Ainda em 2014, vem se apresentando com Renato Teixeira em turnês pelo Brasil, e assumiu a produção
musical do projeto de gravação de DVD ao vivo, do show “Amizade Sincera II”, de Renato Teixeira e Sérgio Reis.

TRAIN, also released in Germany, and TWO, both in partnership with Richard the Lion. With these works, performed at the Montreal Jazz Festival and Free Jazz in SP.

Luis Felipe Gama and Ana Luiza, performs in concerts with a repertoire consisting of songs of Luis Felipe, of Natan Marques and partnership of the two.
